About Us

The Key Club Gabes Coast is an international organization led by high school students that focuses on service, character development, and leadership skills. As the first branch in Africa, it is part of Key Club International, the oldest and largest service program for high school students. Connected to the global Kiwanis family, Key Club members are dedicated to improving their communities and making a positive impact on the lives of children. With a vision of being compassionate and competent servant leaders, the club promotes core values of leadership, character building, kindness, and inclusivity, fostering a culture where members not only serve others but also grow personally and collectively.

Our Executive Board
President

President: TOUJANI Jaafar

Jaafar Toujani, the president of the Key Club, leads meetings, establishes committees, and manages vacancies until elections. As an ex-officio member, he contributes to all committees, promoting teamwork and motivating members to engage in meaningful service projects. He ensures the club's goals are met while making members feel valued. Additionally, he coordinates initiatives and represents the club at events, enhancing its presence in the community and fostering relationships with other organizations. His dedication strengthens the club's impact and enriches the members' experiences.

Past President: BARDI Fatma

The past president, Fatma Bardi, plays a crucial role as a mentor and advisor to the current president. Having previously held the position, she provides valuable insights and guidance, helping the new president navigate challenges and make informed decisions. By being a supportive presence, Fatma ensures continuity in leadership and helps maintain the club's goals and values. Her experience and wisdom are invaluable resources as the new president takes on their responsibilities.

Vice President

Vice President: ASKRI Alaa

Alaa Askri serves as the vice president, stepping in as president when needed and responsible for appointing a new vice president if necessary. In the president's absence, she leads all club and committee meetings, ensuring smooth operations and consistent leadership. Alaa plays a key role in facilitating discussions, organizing events, and promoting member engagement in the club’s initiatives. Her dedication fosters a collaborative atmosphere, significantly contributing to the club's success and making all members feel valued and involved.

Protocol Chief

Protocol Chief: THABTI Hanin

The protocol chief, Hanin Thabti, manages meetings and ensures the calm of the members. She communicates with other clubs and takes necessary measures in case of breaches. Her role includes improving relationships among members, overseeing recruitment processes, and addressing inactive behaviors by issuing warnings when needed. She can also establish new rules.

Protocol Chief Adjointe

Deputy protocol chief: ZIDI Alaa

The deputy protocol chief, Alaa Zidi, supports Hanin Thabti in managing meetings and maintaining a positive atmosphere among members. She assists in communication with other clubs and helps implement necessary measures in case of breaches. Alaa's role includes fostering relationships among members, assisting with recruitment processes, and addressing any issues related to member engagement. She also plays a key role in supporting the establishment of new rules and ensuring that the club operates smoothly and harmoniously.

Secretary

Secretary: MOKHTAR Ghezlene

Ghezlene Mokhtar serves as the secretary, responsible for maintaining club records and writing minutes for meetings. She presents the annual moral report and operates under the president's guidance. Ghezlene also prepares summaries of each statutory meeting for members, oversees the writing committee, and keeps original documents such as the club's bylaws and registers. Her role is crucial for ensuring effective documentation and communication within the club, enhancing its overall organization and functionality.

Adjoint Secretaire

Deputy secretary: HAWAT Mohamed

The deputy secretary, Mohamed Hawet, plays a crucial role in supporting Ghezlene Mokhtar, the secretary, by acting as her right hand. This position involves assisting with record-keeping, preparing meeting minutes, and ensuring smooth communication within the club. Mohamed's contributions are vital for maintaining organization and efficiency, allowing the secretary to focus on her primary responsibilities and enhancing the club's overall effectiveness.

Treasurer: CHTOUROU Mahdi

The treasurer, Mahdi Chtourou, is responsible for managing the club's finances and presenting an annual financial report. He handles payments according to the procedures established by the committee and maintains accounting records, making them available to members upon request. This role is essential for ensuring transparency and accountability in the club’s financial operations, contributing to its overall health and sustainability. Mahdi’s diligent management helps build trust among members regarding the club's financial integrity.

Web Master: BEN ROMDHAN Manar

The webmaster, Manar Ben Romdhane, is responsible for the club's public image on the Internet, including the website and social media. She creates, updates, and maintains the club's website and manages its social media accounts.

Web Master Adjoint

Deputy webmaster: JABER Youssef

The deputy webmaster, Youssef Jaber, plays a vital role in supporting Manar Ben Romdhane in managing the club's online presence. He assists in creating and updating content for the club's website and social media platforms. Youssef also helps monitor engagement and gather feedback from members, ensuring that the club's digital communication is effective and aligned with its goals. His contributions are essential for maintaining a vibrant and engaging online community for the club.

Editor

Editor: BEN ROMDHAN Ritej

The editor, Ritej Ben Romdhane, plays a crucial role by staying informed about dates, events, and the club's current projects. She must be familiar with the programs and structure of Key Club International. The editor ensures communication about the services provided by Key Club, working alongside the secretary to use accurate information for newsletters, flyers, and other promotional materials. She is also responsible for raising awareness of Key Club within her school and community.

It coordinates activities and events at the international level, collects and distributes information and resources to individual clubs, communicates with members and leaders, and promotes Key Club's programs and initiatives.
